Protection Analysis Framework – Adapted Guide (Additional Resources)

An accessible, simplified version of the PAF designed for local and minority-led organizations, including LGBTQ+, women, youth, and disability-focused groups.

This adapted PAF guide was developed through consultation with local and representative organizations to ensure accessibility and meaningful participation in protection analysis processes.

Contributing organizations include:
Access for Social Inclusion (ASI), Active Youth Agency (AYA), Agency for Women and Children Development (AWACD), HelpAge International, Inclusion International, International Rescue Committee (IRC), SEEN, STEWARD Women, and the Syrian Expatriate Medical Association (SEMA).

The guide was produced under the project “Localizing Protection Analysis Capacities for Impact”, funded by Sida. It supports local organizations’ engagement in protection analysis through inclusive and accessible guidance aligned with the Protection Analysis Framework.

This adapted version is designed for organizations working with minority groups, including:

  • Organizations of Persons with Disabilities
  • Women’s organizations
  • Youth organizations
  • LGBTQ+ organizations
